Sincere condolences to Deborah's family. Deborah was such a patient, generous and kind colleague, she will be so missed by her many friends and colleagues in public health. She was on one of the panels at the PH training assessment centre - it was an awful task but she gave me one of her wry smiles and somehow that just helped me to pull myself together. That set the tone for my interactions with Deborah throughout my training and then later as a consultant. Calm, kind and good humoured. May the road rise up to meet her and the wind be at her back.
