Deborah has been around in London throughout my public health career and we have truly lost one of our public health family. Her commitment through the pandemic was incredible, supporting DsPH and boroughs as well as the wider system to manage increasingly difficult situations. She leaves a tremendous legacy in all the people she supported and trained, and colleagues who have learnt from her and developed under her stewardship. I am sad that after everything she gave over the last few years she didn't get more time with those close to her. She will be remembered as our guiding light through the dark days of the pandemic and her family should be so proud of all she achieved.
