Deborah was a lovely human being. Talking to her was always fun due to her warmth and kindness. At work she balanced her expertise with pragmatism and a real understanding of how things actually are and what the organisation should be focusing on (or not!). I remember fondly that Deborah never appeared afraid to challenge, speak out or speak up but always in a reasoned and measured way. I will miss her and am so sad that she has died too young. Sending sincere condolences to her loved ones.
