It is such a shock to hear about Deborah’s passing. Deborah and I met for the first time in late 1990 while on our respective Colindale short health protection attachments. Deborah was supportive, dependable, kind, caring, and straight-talking. Most of us got to know her as a work colleague over many years, but she connected with people with ease, and made us feel comfortable around her. I’ll miss her presence at the end of the phone, and her support in sharing her health protection experience. Above everything else, we will miss her friendship, warm smile, and her care and interest in us all.
