I would like to send my sincere condolences to Deborah's family and friends at this sad time. I am so sad that we have lost one of the best in public health. Deborah led her team with kindness, professionalism and grace. Deborah approached every problem with dedication and energy and I have learned an enormous amount from her. I have benefited from many a kind word and supportive comment and have always marvelled at the generosity with which she gave her time to colleagues who have all learned from her vast experience. I will really miss her.
