I remember speaking to Deborah in the kitchen in Wellington House during the pandemic.  The issue of Dominic Cummings and Barnard Castle had been in the press, and I was merely asking Deborah where she was going on holiday (when we were allowed to travel again!) and she said Barnard Castle, which of course nobody had heard of prior that time!  Like everyone else, I thoroughly enjoyed working with Deb and was always impressed by her. She was always gracious and supportive.  She will be sorely missed
